Apollo.io integration

Add the members of your Vexaro organization to your own Apollo.io account as contacts. An organization admin connects it once in the web console and runs a sync whenever the list should be brought up to date.

What it does

A sync creates a contact in your Apollo account for every active member of your organization. A person who is already a contact there is not added twice.

Vexaro only adds contacts. It does not change or delete anything in Apollo, and it reads nothing from it apart from the name or e-mail of the Apollo user who approved the connection, which the console shows.

Who can use it

Organizations on the Team plan and higher. Only an admin of the organization can connect, sync and disconnect.

On the Apollo side, the user who approves the connection needs permission to connect apps in your Apollo account.

Connect

  1. Sign in to the web console at vexarodesk.com/dashboard as an admin of your organization.
  2. Open Settings, go to the Apollo tab and click Connect Apollo.
  3. Apollo opens in the same tab. Sign in to the Apollo account the contacts should go to and approve access for Vexaro.
  4. Apollo sends you back to the console, which shows the connected Apollo account.

Sync

Click Sync now. The sync runs in the background, so you can leave the page. When it is done, the Apollo tab shows when it ran and how many contacts were sent.

People who join your organization later are added by the next sync. If Apollo asks to slow down, the sync stops and you run it again later. Contacts already sent are not added twice.

What goes to Apollo

For each active member of your organization, and nothing else:

  • first name
  • last name
  • e-mail address
  • the name of your organization

People who were invited but have not joined yet and members who were removed are not sent. Nothing about devices, sessions, recordings or files leaves Vexaro.

Vexaro stores the Apollo access tokens encrypted. The console never shows them.

Disconnect

In Settings, on the Apollo tab, click Disconnect. Vexaro deletes the tokens at once and stops a sync in progress.

Contacts already created stay in your Apollo account. Delete them there if you no longer need them. You can also remove Vexaro from the connected apps in your Apollo settings.
