Vexaro Desk vs Splashtop
Splashtop is an established remote-access and remote-support suite with separate products for individuals, IT support teams and enterprises. Vexaro Desk is a single product in early access that covers attended and unattended support on Windows, priced as flat plans. This comparison uses each vendor's own published information.
What Splashtop offers
Splashtop prices its products separately. Remote Access is billed annually per user in Solo, Pro and Performance editions, with Enterprise quoted on request. Remote Support SOS is priced per concurrent user license, with 10 or 300 managed computers per license. Every product has a free trial. Chat and session recording start at Remote Access Pro; single sign-on, SIEM logging and cloud recording come with the Enterprise plans, which also offer an on-premises option.
Splashtop On-Prem places a gateway in your DMZ or behind your corporate firewall and integrates with Active Directory. Splashtop states that remote sessions are protected with TLS (including TLS 1.2) and 256-bit AES, and that it complies with ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2. Its apps connect from Windows, macOS, Linux, Chromebook, iOS and Android, and into Windows, macOS, Linux, Chromebook and Android.
How Vexaro Desk approaches it
Vexaro Desk is one product with five flat plans, and every plan bundles its operators, devices and concurrent sessions into a single monthly price: Free (for any use, business included), Starter at $7.90, Team at $29.90 with ten operators and session recording, Business at $69.90 with 50 operators and the audit log, and Enterprise from $149 with single sign-on, SIEM export and self-hosted or on-premises deployment.
Attended and unattended support live in the same client. By default the person at the computer approves each session and sees who is asking; for unattended machines, an administrator sets an access password, optionally limited to an allowlist of Vexaro IDs. Sessions are encrypted with TLS 1.3 and are end-to-end encrypted on direct connections; when a network forces a relayed connection, traffic stays encrypted in transit through Vexaro-operated relays.
Two gaps: the client runs on Windows only today, with macOS, Linux and mobile apps planned, and Vexaro holds no ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certification yet. We are working towards recognised international certification and will publish our status as we reach each step.

Where Splashtop is a strong fit
Splashtop is mature and broadly deployed, supports far more platforms than Vexaro Desk today, states ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 compliance, and offers a dedicated on-premises product. For buyers who need formal certifications now, or who support Macs, Chromebooks and mobile devices, it is a strong choice.
Why teams choose Vexaro Desk
- One product and one flat price per plan, instead of separate per-user and per-technician lines.
- SAML or OIDC single sign-on with LDAP and SCIM directory sync on the Enterprise plan.
- Self-hosted or on-premises deployment as part of the Enterprise plan.
